George has a beautiful home, it’s one in million. George was an exceptional host. His recommendation of Marcibo Restaurant was spot on—the food was excellent, and the service was the best I’ve ever experienced. We also visited an olive oil factory and honey farm run by his relatives, and they treated us like family- very friendly and wonderful. Our stay at the house was truly fantastic and EVERYTHING was 5 out of 5 Stars. Thank you, George!

The Villa Cielo e Mare in Falasarna is fantastic! Located in a preserved and quiet area but yet close to 3 different beaches ( a big one with more animation, beach bar, jetskis, avtivities, a medium one and a quiet small one) Tavernas everywhere.. it s great and relaxing. You do need a tough car to go up and down the path going to the villa though, it s 600 meters of stip rocky hot trail;). The villa has eveything you can wish, great pool, various sundbeds, modern amenities.
We stayed one week in Villa Liakos, in Falasarna. Amazing brand new villa, breathtaking view of the sea, everything was simply perfect. Special thanks to Stella for advising us the best restaurants and taverna in Crete!
Spent 6 nights at Villa Vega. Could not have been better. Great support from Holiways staff (Stella) made brief break very memorable for entire family. Highly recommended!!
The villa is kept very clean, it is also very modern and well furnished. We spent a gorgeous week in this idyllic place and we would definitely come again on our next visit to Crete.

Mega Service, ein sehr schönes und gepflegtes Haus – hier fühlt man sich sofort willkommen. Alles ist sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und man merkt, dass viel Wert auf Details gelegt wird. Die Gastgeber sind herzlich, aufmerksam und immer erreichbar, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu wirken. Ruhige Lage, trotzdem alles gut erreichbar. Einfach rundum zum Wohlfühlen – was will man mehr?
We stayed 7 days at Royal Bird Villa in Kalyves and couldn’t have been happier. Holiways communicated quickly and well both before and during our stay, and were flexible and helpful in arranging adjustments. A very professional rental company!

Villa Mare was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. The views over the sea were amazing and it was the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The villa was well appointed with great attention to detail throughout. Peaceful location, lovely local tavernas and a warm welcome from Sandra and the team. We stayed here for three weeks and truly loved every moment. From the second we walked in, we felt welcomed, the fridge was generously stocked with all kinds of food, which was such a thoughtful touch after a long flight. The house had everything we could possibly need: books, board games, a wine carafe, espresso cups, and every kitchen appliance imaginable. You can really feel the care put into every detail. When I mentioned to Stella that some pans were scratched, the owner showed up within two hours with brand-new pans and extra utensils. That level of attention absolutely impressed us. The cleaning and pool teams were also wonderful; fast, quiet, and consistently leaving everything spotless. Stella herself was incredible throughout our stay. She replied instantly, was warm and helpful, and made everything smooth and stress-free. A huge thank-you to the entire team, and especially the owners, for going the extra mile. We left with such good memories and would happily return.

We had an amazing trip to Chania. The house was so beautiful.
Ein kleines Paradies direkt am Meer. Knapp 200 Meter zum Big Beach. Georgis hat sich großartig um unsere Wünsche gekümmert. Täglich kam ein Fischer und versorgte uns mit frischem Fisch, weil wir außerhalb der Saison da waren. Tolle Kontakte, gute Tipps für die Umgebung. Super freundlich und immer erreichbar. Ein Willkommensgruss mit Wein, frischem Obst und Nüssen. Herrlich. So geht Gastfreundschaft. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Danke Georgis.
We absolutely LOVED our stay in this penthouse. The space was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. There were lovely holiday decorations that our kids enjoyed. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the views unmatched. The location in Chania was perfect for walking around the wonderful city. The hosts were very responsive and answered all our questions promptly. We can’t wait to return one day!

The villa was beautiful, quiet, and exactly as advertised. Holiways were very helpful and responsive, answering all our questions well before our stay and communicating clearly throughout. Everything was smooth and comfortable.
Nous avons passons un séjour inoubliable dans cette villa. L’hôte est très réactif et très attentionnée dès notre arrivée, et de très bon conseils concernant les activités et restaurants alentours. Le logement très propre, très calme, parfait pour se reposer et se détendre et une vue à couper le souffle.
Wir haben die Zeit in dem schönen Haus direkt am Meer sehr genossen. Platztechnisch ideal für uns als fünfköpfige Familie. Der Falassarna Strand ist fußläufig in 5 Minuten zu erreichen und toll zum baden. Wir haben es im Oktober geliebt, dass es so leer war. Für unsere kleinen Kinder war der „Tiny Beach, Pink Sand“ ganz in der Nähe ideal. George war gut zu erreichen und hat uns Tipps für wunderbare Restaurants in der Umgebung gegeben. Leider hat es aus den Abflüssen der Bäder sehr unangenehmen gerochen. Dieses Problem konnte während unseres Aufenthalts nicht behoben werden und hat uns besonders nachts eingeschränkt. Dennoch würden wir das Hause wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

This was a rare case in which the home exceeded the description on AirBnB. It was a fantstic property and easly adapted for the 14 month old. Just hanging in the very privat courtyard was a great way to chill after a long day adverturing. I highly recommend this property to anyone who needs or desires a Villa in the heart of Chania.

Pictures don’t do this place justice! Very beautiful and feels like a luxury stay. The hosts are very helpful and friendly and make the check in process smooth and easy. I hope to stay here again in the future.
This is a beautiful house with incredible views. It was so spacious and comfortable for our group of six. A little tricky to get in and out of the narrow and highly inclined driveway, but not a big deal. The host was there to meet us at check-in and explain everything. The kitchen was well stocked with all you would need to cook. The best part was sitting in the heated pool, watching the sunset. We loved this place.
La villa est très bien équipée et d’un niveau de finition de grande qualité. Notre hôte nous a accueilli en personne et a été très prévenant. L’emplacement est pratique avec la plage et des restaurants à proximité. Le chantier de construction ne nous a finalement pas beaucoup dérangé car l’isolation phonique est bonne et les travaux cessent en fin de journée. Séjour globalement très agréable.
Our stay here truly felt like a vacation. Each room was thoughtfully prepared with bathrooms and slippers for two, and the spacious living area opened through sliding glass doors to a beautiful pool and deck. The large kitchen and airy layout—with glass doors on both sides of the living room—made the space feel open and luxurious. Every member of our group felt pampered and relaxed. It was a wonderful stay, and we would absolutely stay again!
The six of us (Aunts and cousins) stayed here for six nights. It was terrific! Great location to explore the old town or the island. We had a car but it didn’t quite fit in the garage (a van) so we parked in a nearby street for free. But if you have a normal sized car the garage would be handy. The penthouse has great space to hang out together or have your own space. Each room is large and with a nice bathroom. We were very pleased with the communication from the managers. I would stay here again.
We all loved the place, and couldn’t recommend it enough. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve been to.
Vi hadde en fantastisk uke i denne villaen! Huset er stort, veldig fint og har en vakker utsikt. Bassengområdet var perfekt for late dager i sola, og vi hadde også stor glede av å lage middag på utegrillen om kvelden. Verten vår, Nicole, var kjempehyggelig og alltid rask til å svare om vi trengte eller lurte på noe. Holiways var også veldig fleksible, og vi fikk låne både seng, stol og flytevest til barn. Ekstra bonus var det at eieren kom innom med en nydelig hjemmelaget moussaka! Det er kort vei ned til sentrum av Kalyves, og selv om det er litt bratt var det ikke noe problem å gå med barnevogn. Vi var for det meste i villaen da selve byen er liten og ganske uinteressant. Det var også enkelt å få levert mat til villaen fra restaurantene i byen ved å bruke efood-appen. Alt i alt et topp opphold, og vi anbefaler alle som ønsker en rolig uke på Kreta å leie dette stedet! Tusen takk for oss!
Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in der Unterkunft. Das Haus bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt. Wahnsinnig schöner Ausblick, tolle Sonnenuntergänge, super Ausstattung, alles blitzsauber und gepflegt, einfache und schnelle Kommunikation, flexibler Check-in. Alles sah aus wie auf den Fotos und noch schöner. Es gab einen Korb mit landestypischen Spezialitäten und Snacks. Abends kann man auch sehr gut die Sterne beobachten. Um vor Ort sich bewegen zu können, ist meiner Meinung nach ein Auto notwendig. Die letzten Fahrminuten zur Unterkunft führen über eine grobe Schotterstraße. Ist denke ich mit jedem Auto machbar, eine Reifenversicherung ist zu empfehlen. Wenn wir das nächste Mal nach Kreta reisen, kommen wir sehr gern wieder zurück. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank für alles.
Sehr sauber, sehr toller Blick. Wir waren alleine in dem ganzen Objekt, allerdings wäre es ausgebucht gewesen (drei Einheiten, drei Pools), kann es bestimmt sehr laut und wenig privat werden.

This listing was perfect for our family group of 8. It was clean and even better in person than in pictures, and the elevator was also very helpful and convenient for some of my relatives who were not as mobile. There were also restaurants and a super market nearby. We would love to stay here again the next time we are back in the area.
Rauhallinen sijainti ja oma pakettiauto plussaa, jolla meidän isompi perhekunta pääsi liikkumaan paikasta toiseen. Asunto oli viihtyisä ja lapset rakastivat omaa uima-allasta. Auringonnousut- ja laskut olivat ihania katsoa omalta kattoterassilta. Jokaisen huoneen yhteydessä olevat omat kylpyhuoneet olivat erittäin hyvä asia. Suosittelen lämpimästi paikkaa muillekin!

Vi har haft en helt fantastisk ferie, i denne villa på Kreta – det var virkelig et sted, hvor man bare kunne slappe helt af og nyde det.
Huset var stort og rummeligt med gode, lyse værelser, som alle havde god plads og behagelige senge. Alt var rent og pænt, og fungerede som det skulle:)
Poolområdet var noget af det bedste! Der var både en børnevenlig pool, hvor vores unger kunne lege trygt, og en stor voksenpool med plads til både svømmeture og afslapning. Vi brugte næsten hele dagen ude ved poolen – det var bare helt perfekt. Og så var der masser af liggestole og skygge, når man trængte til en pause fra solen.
Tagterrassen var også et kæmpe plus – super hyggelig om aftenen med udsigt til solnedgangene.
Vi kan varmt anbefale stedet, især til familier med børn. Alt fungerede, og vi manglede absolut ingenting. Vi kommer gerne igen!
First class villa, stay was amazing
Our group of eight had an incredible stay! The villa is spacious, the pool is fantastic, and we made great use of both kitchens and the barbecue area. It’s just a 15–20 minute drive to the old town and about 10 minutes to the nearest beach club. The team was friendly, helpful, and always on top of things. Highly recommend this villa!

Really good customer service best I’ve experienced
Wir erlebten einen sehr schönen, authentischen und erholsamen Urlaub in der Seafront Villa. Das Ferienhaus bot uns (4 Personen) alles, was wir brauchten und dazu einen direkten Meerblick. Etwas Abseits vom Tourismus genossen wir die Nachbarschaft von Ziegen und Gänsen, brauchten aber auch nur wenige Schritte zum Strand und zu den Tavernen.

Amazing villa!
Die Villa Cielo hat uns sehr gefallen. Der Aufenthalt war grandios und der Kontakt mit dem Anbieter Holiways mehr als unkompliziert. Die Ausicht und die Ausstattung sowie die Sauberkeit der Villa ist einfach Überragend. Das Highlight war natürlich die direkte Sicht auf das Mehr und die wunderschönen Sonnenuntergänge welche wir jeden Abend geniessen konnten.
Die Villa ist weiterzuempfehlen und aufjedenfall einen weiteren Besuch wert.
Die kleine Villa war wirklich 50m vom Meer entfernt, jedoch konnte man dort nicht schwimmen, man benötigt unbedingt ein FZ.George der Eigentümer war extrem bemüht um es uns so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Perfekt! Allerdings sollte neue Pfannen u Töpfe gekauft werden. Waren nicht zu gebrauchen! Und es gibt sehr viele Fliegen am Morgen auf der schönen Terrasse. Ansonsten Top

Abbiamo appena soggiornato 10 giorni a Villa Elpida , Falasarna Luxury Villas..
Villa stupenda, ben arredata , spazi grandi, funzionale, dotata di ogni comfort. Biancheria da letto e da bagno morbida e nuova . La casa era molto pulita e il servizio quotidiano di pulizia perfetto!
Lo spazio esterno della villa è da sogno, un porticato con tavolo grande e barbecue, lettini sole, bellissima piscina a sfioro con vista mozzafiato sulla spiaggia di Falasarna . Tramonti indimenticabili …
La spiaggia è raggiungibile in soli 3 minuti di auto, e’ attrezzata e davvero magnifica, sabbia fine e acqua cristallina.
Host super gentile, sempre raggiungibile e disponibile ad ogni ora !
Un grazie speciale davvero per tutti i suggerimenti su spiagge, ristoranti e in generale per tutto.
Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato frutta, vino e snack di benvenuto , un’accoglienza impeccabile. Nonostante il nostro volo fosse in super ritardo , nessun problema per il check in, anzi abbiamo anche potuto ordinare la spesa che ci hanno fatto trovare già a casa in base alle nostre richieste.

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans une maison super confortable et très bien entretenue directement au bord de la mer, avec une belle plage de sable à seulement 200 mètres à pieds. Des couchers de soleil en direct sur la terrasse extérieure très bien aménagée. Un endroit idéal pour relaxer, se faire de bons repas avec le charcoal, un petit spot à feu extérieur pour admirer le ciel étoilé. Nous avons visité Balos et fait plusieurs randonnées pédestres dans les champs d’oliviers en compagnie des chèvres sauvages. Georgios est un excellent hôte, très attentionné et toujours bienveillant et disponible. C’est un endroit unique et privilégié, nous étions isolé, entouré d’une petite ferme avec des oies et des chèvres. Malheureusement il y a beaucoup de déchets aux alentours de la maison ainsi que sur la plage qui est située directement en face de la maison. C’est un bord de mer plus rocailleux et nous avons trouvé beaucoup de contenants de plastiques coincés dans les récifs. Mais sinon tout était parfait.

Eine der besten Ferienunterkünfte (Villa Cielo in Falassarna = Westen von Kreta), die wir jemals gebucht haben. Wir sind in diesem Jahr mit 3 Erwachsenen und einem Kind (8 Jahre) in den ersten 2 Oktober Wochen gereist.
Die Villa ist im 3. Jahr der Vermietung und somit noch sehr neu und bis auf die letzte Kleinigkeit einfach top ausgestattet. Es ist offensichtlich, dass hier Architekten und Innenarchitekten von Beginn an Hand in Hand gearbeitet haben.
Das Gelände der Villa ist weitläufig mit vielen Terrassen, Outdoor Küche und einem auf Wunsch / bei Bedarf kostenlos beheizbaren Pool!!
Die gesamte Anlage hat einen unverbauten 180 Grad Blick auf die Strände und das Meer. Tägliche Sonnenuntergänge garantiert. Einfach perfekt!!!
Ein Auto wird in jedem Fall benötigt, auch wenn die wirklich schönen Strände vor der Tür in 10 Minuten fussläufig erreichbar sind, was wirklich toll ist. Schöne Restaurants und Cafés im Übrigen ebenfalls in der Umgebung vorhanden (zB Sunset in der Orange Blue Bar oder Captain Nikolas als schönes und günstiges Fischrestaurant am ganz kleinen Hafen).
Das Gesamtpaket hat in jedem Fall 5 Sterne verdient, zumal auch die Betreuung durch die Agentur (inkl alle 3 Tage Reinigung) und sogar den Eigentümer (hat 2x als Danke Kuchen & Gebäck vorbei gebracht) hervorragend war!
Wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder!

We had a truly spectacular stay at Casa di Franco. The house is built to an excellent standard, with beautiful finishes, great amenities, and a show-stopping pool area. Stella, our concierge, planned everything for us – airport transfers, wine & olive oil tour, private boat cruise, private chef – and was truly a joy to work with. George the owner of the house was also spectacular – he was extremely responsive to all of our requests and he went above and beyond to offer us lifts to the beach and pick up groceries for us.
I would recommend having a car to be able to explore more of the area, but even without one there is a fantastic restaurant a 5min walk away from the villa called Spilios, the beach is within a 5min drive, and Stella & George are more than happy to arrange transfers as needed. Would stay with them again in a heartbeat – looking forward to the next one!

This is the best Airbnb we have ever experienced in Greece and anywhere we have been. The three-floor apartment is spectacular if you like modern design. There is an elevator within the apt. The pool is great (water temperature also) and the view is fantastic. Communication was effortless, precise and amicable. Now, you need a car to experience the city and the surroundings.
The Holiways were so accommodating and friendly! We felt well taken care of and safe during our stay on Crete. The view was AMAZING and our pool & house were perfect. We also got a mid-week cleaning service refresh which was nice and unexpected. We honestly didn’t want to leave! We will definitely stay with the Holiways next time we come to Crete! Would highly recommend, especially if you are unsure of the area/culture because they will take care of you!
We had a great stay! The Holiways team was very communicative and helpful. The drive in is as steep as it is described in the check-in instructions so be careful coming in! The sunset from the place is amazing!
Beautiful house and with gorgeous views. We had plenty of space and all 3 bedrooms were spacious. They provided a full size crib for our son (who’s big) so that was really helpful. Highly recommend this house. The only downside which I’ll mention is the driveway and garage situation. You will need to really be careful getting in and out of it but you can master it by your final day!

Great house near 3 sandy beaches and many tasty restaurants. I stayed 11 nights with my wife and small daughter, and we wished we had a longer vacation. The pool is nice and the view is great. You will need a car to get to all the nice placest around the villa (3 minutes by car to the best beaches and nicest restaurants). The house is spatious (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 ‘living room areas’ with extendable couches, 1 kitchen) and the garden is very nice.
It‘s been an amazing week and a big pleasure to spend some days in this amazing place. Thx a lot to Natassa & her husband for their kind hospitality!!! This is simply been a wonderful retreat to enjoy the last days of summer… authentic, private, with a gorgeous view

Brand new villa with excellent amenities and a beautiful pool. Restaurants and beach within walking distance and Chania only 10-15 minutes away by car. Host is incredibly helpful and will offer tips for beaches, restaurants etc.

The most fabulous Airbnb stay we have ever had. The villa is even more beautiful and peaceful than we could have possibly expected. Holiways were excellent with their communication and provided us with all the help that we needed with our booking and stay. We met the owner who was an absolute delight and made us feel perfectly at home from the start. After being initially concerned that there weren’t a catalogue of reviews available like some of the other places (who spend most of their time with the sole purpose of collecting these), we were completely taken aback with how brilliant the entire stay was. 5*s for everything.
We enjoyed our stay in the Upper Villa in Malaxa very much. With 6 people we had everything we need. The whole house is airconditioned when needed. It was full of equipment to make the stay very comfortable. The house is situated in the mountains where you can find the rest and peace to have a very relaxing holiday. The owner and hostess are very, very kind and if there’s a question they answer right away and solve the problem when needed. We might come back someday to enjoy again! THNX!

Our stay made this a fantastic family vacation with our 5-year old and 18-month old children. The house and the view are absolutely breathtaking, and access to the water is a private oasis. It is not the easiest with young children, but it is worth it for those who don’t like a crowded beach. Our host went above and beyond all expectations to make our stay comfortable and special. The host communicated with us before we even left for our trip so we knew what to expect, and they prepared the house to accommodate our needs (baby crib in correct bedroom, baby tub and high chair). There was a platter of fresh cheese, bread, and crackers, as well as sparkling water, and fresh fruit when we arrived. After a few days, our host also gave us some delicious home-cooked food. The host even scheduled the food delivery at a time that would work for us, and worked around an early flight departure. We hope to come back again soon.

A beautiful villa with lovely views. The villa is very clean and stylish and has everything you could need from a coffee maker to games for the family. When we arrived we were welcomed by an array of food and drink which after a late night flight was just what we needed to wake up to. It is a fair drive to supermarkets and restaurants but it is worth it for the view driving down the mountain and looking out from the villa. We chose this villa because we wanted a quiet stay and apart from the villa next door being noisy the first night we arrived the rest of our stay was peaceful and quiet. Definitely good value for money.
The villa is just perfect in any aspect. close to the beach, a short walk to the centre of plakias and very well equipped. we didn‘t miss anything – all the little things like dish liquide, sponge, etc were there. the interior design is amazing, we felt like home from the first moment. we enjoyed the pool and the barbecue everyday. when it was very windy one day, we even had a cosy time inside the villa in a homely atmosphere. Eleni, the owner of the villa, is such a lovely and kind person. she prepared raki, homemade jam, eggs and even freshly baked cake for us. she even brought some extra toys for our little boy. she was very helpful and organized quickly a doctor as our child got sick. she really took care of us and everything.
A truly amazing place. The photos of the villa and the views are superb and played a big part in us wanting to stay here but… it was even more incredible to be there and wake up to it every day. The view is utterly breathtaking and we frequently just stood or sat there looking at it – especially at sunset. We wanted to find an environment for a peaceful and relaxing stay and we found it – it was perfect, with the villa’s luxury, style and design complementing everything around it. The wonderful Stella and Holiways could not have been more helpful throughout our stay from the lovely welcome to the seamless farewell with everything taken care of in between. Customer service means exactly that. The villa and pool were cleaned twice during our stay with all towels and bed linen being replaced – this was so appreciated. The owner himself cleaned the pool and it was no token gesture; it was thoroughly and conscientiously cleaned, and it was a genuine pleasure to meet him. Ten minutes from the (excellent and newly refurbished) airport and ten minutes from Chania with all its restaurants and waterfront (both easy drives) were also deciding factors for us, whilst very good supermarkets were even closer. Our holiday here was everything we hoped it would be – and more. We cannot recommend it enough.

We had a wonderful time in the villa, the facilities were excellent , extremely clean. Stunning views. It is out of town in the mountains which suited us as there was a pool so we could have days by the pool and go to the beach which was approximately 25 minutes away, as was the town centre (by car or taxi ) I would highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet holiday and happy to drive or get a taxi.. but evenings in were also perfect as you couldn’t wish for any more equipment ! I certainly wouldn’t have changed anything .

Our stay at the Villa Mystique was a dream come true from the beginning to the end. Stella was already there at our arrival and welcomed us warmly with good tips for restaurants and excursions as well as a welcome package for the first two days for food and drinks. The apartment is very modern, elegant and has everything you need for a holiday. The mattresses are great. The pool is almost 10m long and we used it extensively on a daily base. The view of Chania, the ocean and the entire huge terrace are amazing. We watched several sunsets with our feet in the pool… This was such an amazing week full of relaxation. We will certainly come back!
I wish I could keep this villa a secret. As a couple, we had such a good and relaxing time here. We spent time swimming in the sea at the bottom of its beautiful garden and enjoying the local beaches and waterfront tavernas only a short walk away. The area is surprisingly protected from over-development because of the local airforce base and still feels like it rightfully belongs to locals despite its popularity. The villa design is a showcase of Gina and her fathers talent – it’s difficult not to marvel at it every moment there. The views out to the bay, sunrise from each room is a spectacle. It is not conventional as an open plan space and is full of creature comforts and mindful design touches. Not least, such warm hosting from Katia who offered some of her delicious baking and thanks to Gina for the flexibility in booking. There is also a very special family history here which stole our hearts…but you will need to book to find out and be part of it.

Great place at Halepa, Crete which can accomodate with ease 4 people, and quite more if necessary. Host was always present and very accessible when needed, even before the finalization of the booking. Assisted us perfectly with early check-in and late check-out, as well as the booking of a car. Regarding the place: new, clean, good amenities and architecture, with a small pool. Weird architecture of bathrooms and full access of sunlight 24/7 might be considered the only drawbacks to the very demanding people. Actual 5 mins with car from Chania, only when there was congestion we spent additional time. Very satisfied with both the place and host, however, the host made the difference!
This is a wonderful villa! It is modern, clean and has a bunch of thoughtful touches. I always worry about air conditioning and water pressure and both were amazing. It is a great location, a 5-10 drive to some nearby beaches. Also close to restaurants and shopping. We were 10 people and there was plenty of space. Owners were accommodating for an early check-in and were available for any questions. Really a great place with great owners. Highly recommended.

The villa is AMAZING! It’s even better than it looks in pictures. It’s modern, very roomy and tastefully furnished. It has all the amenities you come to expect from a luxury villa, the two terraces make for a delightful place to chill and the pool is a nice addition for the days that you won’t want to spend at the wonderful beaches you can find nearby. On top of this, the staff is super friendly and helpful.
We could not be happier with our stay at the villa. The check in and check out were smooth. At the checkout we were a little delayed and Stella was very accommodating giving us a bit more time to pack and finish. Communication and hospitality was exceptional. Hosts were very responsive and attended to all our need very quickly. The place itself was sparkling clean, and cleaners came twice to clean up the place. The house is beautiful, spacious quiet and fresh, most welcome with the August heat. The highlight was the pool for our 3 kids who spent more time in there than anywhere else. Stella is very thoughtful and you can see that she puts a lot of heart in looking after the villa. The garden was well maintained with roses and plants by the pool. There were even pool toys for the kids. 5 mins by car to a beautiful beach where after a day in the sun you can enjoy delicious food in one of the beach restaurant watching the sunset by the sea. Less than 5 mins away to shops and supermarkets. Can only recommend.

There was food and drinks on arrival which was very nice hungry after a long travel. View from the villa is absolutely amazing we enjoyed several BBQ and much time in the pool.

Absolutely amazing Villa and a really nice place to enjoy your vacation. Plakias is a nice and small town which is definierend worth to visit. A lot of beautiful taverns with authentic greek Food and really nice beaches around. The villa itself is perfect. We stayed with 3 young couples for ten nights. We love this place, clean, modern an we had everything we need. 2 Minutes walk to the beach and only a few more minutes to plakias centre. The hosts were lovely and really polite. We got „room Service“ Every three days, including nice cakes as well 🙂 Definetly an amazing and luxury vacation, we would recommend it to everyone.

Villa ultra moderne très design avec vue imprenable sur la mer Egée magnifiques matériaux bois et grandes baies vitrées avec salon de jardin, proche de la plage de Marathi Équipements neufs dernier cri Énormément de charme Petits jardins en terrrasse surplombant un chemin menant à une crique privée (rochers mise à l eau par un escalier de pierre) avec snorkeling possible. A 100 m de la plage la plus proche (galets) et proche des 2 plages de sable blanc et fin (location parasols et transats). Marathi est un tout petit village ( seulement quelques tavernes) sur la péninsule d Akrotiri. Voiture nécessaire. Proche de l aéroport mais pas gênant. A 20 minutes du centre de la Canée. Nous avons passé de fabuleuses vacances en famille (avec nos 2 enfants de 2 ans et 6 mois, matériel bébé lit parapluie chaise haute baignoire fournis). Adresse exceptionnelle et avec l hospitalité et l’accueil crétois (non légendaire !!!) de notre hôte Gina : merci encore pour vos conseils et vos petits plats typiques délicieux.

This villa is amazing!! It is very beautiful, with new amenities and modern decor. The villa is in a great location, one block from the beautiful Plakias beach, and a close walk to the downtown restaurants and shops. The family and homeaway company were easy to contact and good with communication. The family was very sweet, I would definitely stay again!! I have nothing bad to say about this wonderful experience and villa.
Our stay at Marina Mare was amazing! The view from the house is beautiful and was very close to the beach and many other shops for coffee and groceries as well as restaurants. The pool was very nice and heated and plenty of sun beds to relax on. My whole family had a great and relaxing vacation in Crete and everything went smoothly!
Our 1st time in Crete was made extra special by such a great location and such a great host. The house sits on a hill allowing for an amazing view. The photos really do not do this justice. The house was so clean and comfortable, and the response time for questions or directions was fast. We loved our stay and would stay here next time we visit… and would recommend you stay here too!
Our experience here is one of our top villa rental experiences in decades of renting starting before AirBnb even existed. We loved the family, and the home. The view, the beds, the sauna (!!), everything was just perfect. It’s a little out of the way, but that provides lots of quiet, and yet you’re still close enough for a quick drive into Chania for dinner, or to multiple beaches. Very highly recommended.

This was our first Air BnB experience and we could not have been more pleased. Beautiful modern home. Immaculate with the best views in Falasarna. Owners are very helpful and responsive. A plus. Note- the access road to the house is a bit bumpy but only about 3 minutes off the main road
We were a group of 15 who stayed at the villa for a week, and had an amazing time! They were very accomodating and helpful to make sure there was room for all of us. Stella and Sofi always answered quickly when we had any questions. The villa is just as beautiful as the pictures, or even better, and we had lots of space. There are some bikes at the villa that we borrowed one day, and we also got help from Stella to have a rental car delivered to the house on our first day. They also booked our transfer, and I’m sure would have helped with anything else we might have needed. The villa is close to the small village Kokkino Chorio which has a few minimarkets, but most of the days we drove a bit further to shop. Plaka is also close and has some very nice restaurants. With the big barbeque outside, the infinity pool, and the gorgeous sunsets that can be enjoyed every night, this was just about a perfect holiday. Thank you!
This really was the perfect villa and we had a wonderful and relaxing holiday. The communication before our arrival was excellent. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the owner who had kindly brought delicious cakes and pastries and had stocked the cupboard and fridge. The villa itself is beautifully designed with all modern amenities. I would very happily live in this villa. We have a baby and the owners had kindly included a beautiful crib and new high chair for our use as well as a lot of outdoor toys, including slides, a swing and children’s kitchen as well as playing balls and rackets. The pool was also heated so that he could swim happily. The cleaning service and special touches were better than most hotels. The location is also wonderful. It is very close to the beautiful beach of Falassarna and there are many delicious restaurants nearby. Our favourites were Gramboussa and Spilios. You will certainly not regret staying in this villa.

Our stay at Stephanie’s Airbnb was spectacular. The space is clean, beautiful, and has the most stunning views. The nearest beach is a little further away than we hoped (about 25 minutes walk) but is beautiful and with little surf. We spent the end of every day sipping Harvey Wallbangers (made with fresh squeezed orange juice) by the pool or enjoying the sunset on the upper deck. Truly the trip of a lifetime!
We have had a wonderful stay at Stephanie’s place. The villa is incredible and Stephanie is a very responsive host and George brought fresh oranges and grapes for us from the garden. We felt very welcomed – this is definitely not our last stay here. The view is breathtaking and the house was perfect for us. I can’t recommend this place enough – we will definitely be coming back!

This place was perfect and much better than what we expected. The views were breathtaking, the house was clean, and much roomier than the photos show. We stayed as a family of 3, and it was a perfect place to relax a short drive away from the main town of Chania. Now, let me talk about the beds… AMAZING. The beds and the sheets are hotel quality. Stella was super helpful, welcoming, and answered any questions we had! There was some construction next door, but it didn’t bother us. The place is overall very quiet and private – plus, we never heard the neighbors. I recommend this place for others! It’s a gem!
The villa is perfectly located a little away from Chania. The city and the airport are both close by, and there are supermarkets and restaurants around the house. The villa is really spacious with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two living rooms! Everything is perfectly clean and in working order. All necessities are also in the house (blow dryer, washing machine, cooking tools and basics like salt and oil…). Stella is always easy to reach and gave us the best tips for restaurants in Chania! All in all, can highly recommend the villa. It is perfect for 4 people (can feel a little crowded with 6 but would still be manageable).

She gave us a ton of very useful information about places to visit, little authentic villages to walk around, restaurants to try in Chania and close by the house (what a culinary expert!) and she also gave us the contact of a guide as we had expressed our intention to go hiking. Every recommendation was spot on! Stella made her self available when we contacted her during our stay with some requests and showed up perfectly on time to check us out. We can’t thank her enough for giving us just the right tips to make our stay unforgettable. The house? It’s stunning! The view is breathtaking from any place in or outside the house. The Villa Estel was a great place to stay in the Chania area. Great location, provided you have a car, to explore the west side of the island. A quick drive from the old harbour and plenty of amazing restaurants. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Stella was very nice, and had some great recommendations for us. (restaurants, beaches, etc) I would love to return.

This house was simply perfect . Every Single détail was thought about.The house has a state of the art kitchen and living area . Tv in every room as well as ensuite bathrooms and fluffy monogram bathrobes . The pool area and outdoor kitchen was a favorite spot for family gatherings . The Crete’s hospitality is something out of this world we where very impressed by the family welcoming special touches such as home made wine and fruits from the family garden . We will recommend this magical house to our friends back home.
Die Villa Estel liegt auf einem Hügel in einem kleinen Dorf namens Galatas, das noch seinen ursprünglich griechischen Charakter behalten hat, weshalb man sich hier sehr wohlfühlt. Herrlicher Blick über Olivenbäume zum Meer von einer traumhaften Terrasse mit Infinity-Pool aus. Die Villa hat alles, was man sich wünscht – eine tolle Einrichtung sowie Ausstattung. Schlafzimmer und Bäder sind top, zudem befindet sich in jedem Raum eine Klimaanlage. Auch verfügt jedes Zimmer über einen eigenen TV, auf dem sich auch internationale Programme befinden. Die Strände, die schöne Hafenstadt Chania sowie der Flughafen sind alle in nur wenigen Minuten und problemlos erreichbar. Trotz der Nähe zum Flughafen, ist hier keinerlei Fluglärm zu hören. Die Betreuung durch Stella war perfekt – sie war jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns den Urlaub mit vielen Tipps und Anregungen noch schöner gestaltet. Wir haben uns hier rundherum sehr wohl und gut betreut gefühlt! Die Gastfreundschaft der Griechen ist einfach unschlagbar und wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Very Good service and a fantastic villa
Perfekter Aufenthalt Eine wunderschöne(!) neue moderne Villa mit vielen durchdachten Details. Top ausgestattet und super schön eingerichtet. 4 Schlafzimmer, 3 Bäder mit Duschen(!), große Küche (sehr gut ausgestattet), offener großzügiger Wohn- und Essbereich. Alle Räume klimatisiert. Privatpool. Sogar Poolhandtücher vorhanden. Alle Fenster haben elektrische Rollos und Fliegengitter. Unser Flug hatte leider über 2 Stunden Verspätung. Der Eigentümer hat uns super freundlich empfangen und sich immer um alle Belange schnellstens gekümmert. Quasi um die Ecke kann man Minimarkets und Restaurants finden. Im Ort gibt es auch viele größere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Obwohl Hochsaison ist, ist Kissamos überhaupt nicht mit Touristen überfüllt, was wir sehr angenehm (ruhig) fanden. Zur Promenade (Restaurants, Bars) kann man auch schön spazieren. Wir haben uns in der Villa sehr wohl gefühlt und können diese nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Es war sicherlich nicht unser letzter Besuch in der Villa Despina.
This villa was AMAZING! We stayed here for ten days. We rented a car and went into the city many times. It was always so nice to return to our space here and relax with an incredible view. The villa is new and clean, great host in Stella as well! We felt so welcomed and taken care of during our stay!

Very clean and beautifully presented property with loads of extra bits, 3 bottles of wine, bread, fruit etc when we arrived. A great host who was very helpful and all in all a great holiday. Very professional company, really organised and responsive.

Even before we made the booking Holiways have been incredible. They responded instantly with all questions, were accommodating with our arrival/departure times, even found us a great deal on car hire. And when we arrived we weren’t disappointed. They were on hand over text or phone to help us at any time…even when we locked ourselves out! The villa was lovely, with incredible views and everything you need. Lovely Stella helped us book trips, taxis, restaurants…she knows everything and bends over backwards for her guests! They made the whole holiday absolutely perfect, couldn’t recommend them more highly! Thank you holiways…we’ll be back!

Villa très spacieuse dans un petit village très calme avec notamment un patio ombragé et frais à l’étage, où il fait bon prendre son petit déjeuner et paresser en profitant de la vue sur la mer au loin. La piscine est bien sûr très appréciable et l’accueil est formidable : l’hospitalité crétoise n’est pas une légende !
I highly recommend staying here. I have to say this was my best experience with any Airbnb property. Stephanie and her husband were excellent hosts. Stephanie was always prompt with answering any questions I had and very attentive to our needs. The location is perfect for exploring Western Crete. The view from the house is beautiful. Nice view of the mountains, sea, and Chania. We were 5 adults and there was plenty of room for us. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantstic holiday. It was our first stay in a villa and it lived up to expectations. The villa is lovely with everything you would need. Spectacular views sitting on top of a hill. Wonderful garden and pool area. Though it is near the beaches (down a steep hill) we would recommend a car- which we had. It is very easy to drive around the area. Stephanie was really helpful and stayed up for our very late arrival and helped us when we got lost on route from the airport!
Our 6 night stay at Villa Armi was wonderful. The villa was very clean, well equipped (iPad, play station, washing machine, phone, etc) and very beautiful. Natasa and Jon were very nice hosts. We will definitely come back!

We have stayed in 2 different villas through Holiways, both beautiful, immaculately kept and well appointed. Booking process and management with Holiways has always been very straightforward and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
We stayed at Villa Amelia in Kalathas(Crete) The Villa was excellent, with a clean contemporary feel, brand new modern TVs, appliances & super cool air conditioning in all rooms. The pool was lovely and clean & the minibus(Included in the rental) was very handy as a car is essential if you want to visit Chania & the local restaurants/beaches in Kalathas.
On arrival, the airport transfer was arranged by Holiways(Stella), it was a quick journey in a luxurious minibus.
The driver handed everyone cold bottled water in the van, took us directly to Villa Amelia & even unlocked the door, showed us in & handed over the keys. The villa was stocked with everything you need, all cleaning products, fridge stocked, full fruit bowl, toiletries, tea/coffee/sugar etc & even a bottle of wine. (Never had such a welcome surprise at a villa rental)
The Holiways representatives are available via email, phone or WhatsApp during your stay & are equipped with plenty of information about the local area.
We would definitely return to the Villa if we revisit Crete & would recommend sitting on the beautiful roof terrace on an evening, there is sea views & it’s a lovely calm space to watch the sunset.

Just finished a great week at the Omnia Villa in Crete. Fabulous villa with beautiful views and some good restaurants within walking distance. The outdoor space is limited but the views more than made up for this for us. Attentive service and quality recommendations on restaurants and activities made this a super holiday. Highly recommended.

Villa Masseria near Falassarna is truly beautiful with fabulous views over the bay. The house is decorated in modern style and well equipped with great spaces to enjoy inside and out, including star gazing from the large flat roof. We were a family of 7 encompassing 3 generations. The pool is perfect. It can be windy up high on the hill and the long, sometimes steep dirt road access is challenging but we got used to it. We loved our time there – 30 May – 6 June 2022.
Villa Aiolos was an absolutely beautiful home, with a kind and thorough welcome from our host. It is a 15 minute drive into Chania, but there are plenty of close by restaurants and markets within walking distance.
Villa Aiolos was the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a relaxing beach vacation.

We absolutely loved our stay at villa Vega. We had fresh fruit waiting for us and everything we could possibly imagine to start our stay in Crete. This house had so many little touches that truly made the experience special. We loved the pool and fully stocked kitchen and the communication with the host was excellent. I hope that someday we can come back.

We stayed 10 nights with 4 adults and 3 children in Villa Amelia and enjoyed our stay in Kalathas very much. Villa Amelia is a very modern and sophisticated house with plenty of seating areas, including shaded ones. Just ideal for our needs.
The rooms are tastefully decorated, mostly with en-suite bathrooms, a sufficiently large pool and a mini-bus for trips to the surrounding beaches. Our impression is rounded off by a fully equipped kitchen, great, professional service and last, but not least, exceptional and cordial hosts!
I’ve been to Crete many times and I have to say that this villa is the best one that I’ve been. The villa is great for families who have kids, with stuff to do such as the pool outside. The owner, Giorgos, was there for everything we needed, the staff was amazing. Thanks to them we had our best experience in Crete.

We enjoyed a splendid two weeks at Seafront Villas. We were a family party of 11, ages from 8 to 77, and we booked both Villa Solis and Villa Luna. Everyone had a great time. The villas were very clean with all essentials supplied and plenty of room for a big group. Everything is modern and all the furniture – beds, sofas, sun loungers etc were all very comfortable and stylish. The kitchens are well equipped and the pools were kept in great condition. There is an interior staircase that connects the villas if you are renting them together, but is closed off by a connecting door if you are renting them separately. There was lots of space for our whole group and everyone enjoyed the pool table and gym equipment as well as both pools, and the rooms were hotel-style with comfortable beds, all ensuite and with televisions. The wi-fi was also quick and mostly reliable. Be aware there are lots of steps and hard surfaces, and both pools are of one consistent depth throughout (120cm upstairs and 140cms downstairs) which might not suit groups with smaller children than ours.
The location of the villa is quiet and the views from the top floor are stunning. The thoughtful planting makes both pool areas feel secluded from surrounding properties. Yet it is also only a short walk to the beach (across one quite busy road) as well as to several mini markets and restaurants of Galatas. The local beach is great for kids and there is also a large beach a slightly longer walk away. The villas are also well placed to explore the area and it is easy to get a bus into Chania if you don’t want to worry about parking. Two large supermarkets also within a five minute drive. Stephanie answered any questions immediately and was always available for advice. I would highly recommend this place!.
We had an incredible time at Star Luxury Villa. The villa was absolutely amazing and looked exactly like the photos. It was super clean, spacious. We where 10 adults in there and it was just perfect. Seaview from the pool and the balcony.
Great little town close by providing a proper autenthic greek vibe. Whilst still being close to the hustle and bustle.
Manos provided excellent service and was available via WhatsApp for any questions we might have. They also recommended boat trips taxi etc.

We had a wonderful stay at Omnia Villas in Chania. It was everything and more than we expected. The villa is modern, clean and facilities were excellent. The view from the pool area was the stunning feature. The surrounding area is residential and quite, but with a local shop and some nice bars within walking distance. We would recommend Omnia Villas. The only word of caution is that the driveway to the property is steep and if you have a big car then the garage entry is quiet tight.

The house is really wonderful and spacious. Luxury on high level. Excellent view towards mountains and the ocean. Household appliances and interior high quality, furniture great quality. The service by Holiways Villas can was superb and the contact person (Stella) was very very kind and super helpful. Very very positively surprised about the house, expectations were sky-high and 200% fulfilled. We will definitely go there again.

The property itself, b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l ! – Awesome level of comfort, modern, contemporary, secure, spacious and really well planned out.
Alkisti, the property owner did a quick and efficient handover on arrival – just right amount of info and we didn’t get that ‘OK, OK… hurry up’ feeling 😉 because all we wanted to do was jump in the gorgeous pool (pool is great as uses salt to generate chlorine and is so much less ‘chemically’ than normal chlorinated pool) – We’d go back in a heartbeat!
Such a beautiful penthouse! Situated in a very convenient location close to the old town Chania with so much space and privacy to return to after a busy day out. With stunning sunset views and huge terraces as well as smaller balconies at the rear of the property. The rooftop pool was lovely to cool off in after a busy day out. The basement parking garage was an added bonus to have right in the centre of the city and although the entrance slope is steep it was fine if you all get out of the car first and just leave the driver in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return if we ever get to come back to beautiful Chania!
