Our stay at villa Amygdalia was an unforgettable experience. The view over Apokoronas and the White Mountains is breathtaking. The villa was very comfortable, tastefully furnished, with all the amenities and tools necessary for a lovely stay. Though we had neighbors we barely felt their presence. Chrysoula was a lovely, warm, and very responsive host – she made us feel welcome straight away and even gifted us delicious delicatessen from the region.

Host was so kind and responsive, even brought us chocolate cake to greet us. Home is nice, the view and location is absolutely beautiful. However, the home is at the top of a mountain, extremely steep and difficult to navigate, and you will need a rental car. You won’t be able to get anywhere by taxi. It is also an hour away from Chania, which is where pretty much everything is. Almost 2 hours from the HER airport. The neighborhood is more rural and quiet, but there is a small town with restaurants and shops about 15 mins away called Georgioupolis. One of the bathrooms is inside a bedroom, so the space was a bit cramped for four of us. Three people would fit more comfortably. Also, the pool shower does not work.

We had a fantastic experience at this villa! The host was super accommodating and went out of their way to ensure we could check in at night, and responded quickly whenever we had questions. The view from the villa was simply amazing, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay.
All in all, it was a really great experience, and I give the stay 5 stars. It would have been even better if the outdoor shower had worked and one of the bathroom doors closed better. Despite these small issues, I highly recommend this villa to other travelers!

Wir waren drei Paare und haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem Apartment sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist genauso schön und gepflegt wie auf den Bildern dargestellt. Alles war sehr sauber, wodurch wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt haben. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war ausgezeichnet – sie war sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Insgesamt eine rundum positive Erfahrung, die wir gerne weiterempfehlen.

We had a fantastic stay at Amigdalia villa. The villa was spotless with everything we needed and the beds were extremely comfortable. The pool area had the most amazing views of the white mountains and the pool itself was a welcome relief from the heat of the day. Chrisoula our host was extremely helpful and provided us with lovely welcome refreshments upon arrival. We would definitely recommend this villa, however a car is essential.

It was a 5-star stay without a doubt . The communication was smooth and professional. We were asked in advance for additional services like an incredible boat tour and other stuff. The house owner was very lovely, always available to reach and made the stay perfect by recommending us local restaurants as well as providing us with fresh Cretan products multiple times. She was very generous and we had a good time at this beautiful Villa.

The Villa is great and has a lovely view. We stayed here with 4 people and there was more than enough room for everyone. 6 people would have fit as well. Inside of the Villa there is everything you need (dishwasher, washing machine etc). The pool area was also very nice. The host was very kind and the communication was very good. The only thing that could be improved is the warm water. Sometimes the water of the shower would be cold. However, I would definitely recommend staying here!

This Villa was amazing! We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was perfect! Super clean, modern, comfortable accommodations in a beautiful part of Crete on the mountain with outstanding views. The pictures reflect exactly how it is! The kitchen was well furnished with everything you need and an added bonus was the Nespresso machine which we loved. I would highly recommend staying here as it is in an ideal location for visiting western Crete and the town of Georgioupoli is very close by with great supermarkets and local tavernas. Wij hebben een fantastische week gehad met ons gezin in deze prachtige villa. Het uitzicht is adembenemend, het zwembad ruim en heerlijk fris en er is een prachtige plek om te barbecuen.
Bovendien is Chrisoula een fantastische host die er alles aan doet om het verblijf van haar gasten perfect te maken. Altijd te bereiken en zeer vriendelijk.
Deze villa is een aanrader voor een heerlijke ervaring op Kreta!

Un logement magnifique avec sa vue panoramique ! Tout était parfait, de la literie à la piscine, en passant par tout les équipements comme la cafetière ou les produits de bien être.

Superbe logement. Holiways a toujours été disponible pour que notre séjour se déroule au mieux. Concernant la propriétaire Chrisoula, elle est exceptionnelle, toujours disponible et pleine de petites attentions fort appréciables. Wir hatten eine unvergessliche Zeit in einer der tollsten Unterkünfte mit der besten Gastgeberin!
Begrüßt wurden wir mit einer kleinen Aufmerksamkeit und einer leckeren Flasche Wein. Fernab vom Trubel mitten in der Natur liegt diese Oase auf einem Berg (Auto unbedingt erforderlich).
Alles in der Unterkunft ist sehr durchdacht (Waschmaschine, Kleiderständer,
Housekeeping, Pool- und Handtücher, Spülmaschinentabs, Salz, Pfeffer, Öl) und sauber. Die Gastgeberin ist jederzeit zu erreichen und kümmert sich schnell und liebevoll um alle Belange! Der Blick auf die Berge ist unbeschreiblich und es ist auf den Bildern nur zu erahnen, wie schön er wirklich ist. Der private Pool lässt einen entspannte Tage am Haus verleben. Alles in allem kommen wir gerne wieder und sind ganz beseelt von dem tollen Urlaub bei Chrisoula! Danke für alles! ♥️

We had a wonderful stay at Chrisoula’s villa. The house and the pool are perfect, well decorated and furnished. Also built with attention and great materials. There is everything you need in the villa, with a lot of attention to details from Chrisoula, the owner. The views from the balcony and the pool are just fantastic. The location is also very nice, just 6-7 mins from Georgioupoli and 35 min from Rethymnon and Chania, within a small village area, with very quiet surroundings. Very peaceful atmosphere. Chrisoula is an amazing host and she gave us a lot of useful advice and recommendations to discover the area.

Unser Aufenthalt in Chrisoula‘s Villa war wunderbar! Die Lage ist toll: ruhig am Berg mit wahnsinnig guter Aussicht auf die Berge (sowohl vom Pool als auch von der Terrasse). Man ist mit dem Auto auch schnell unten im Ort oder in einem der kleinen Bergdörfer für tolles griechisches Essen und alles, was man sonst noch braucht. Die Villa ist super ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke an die tolle Gastgeberin Chrisoula, die dafür gesorgt hat, dass es uns an nichts gefehlt hat.
Danke auch an Anna, die zum Handtuch- und Bettwäschewechsel etc. vorbei kam.

Wir waren eine Woche in dieser Unterkunft. Es ist echt perfekt, wenn man eine Auszeit möchte. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Bis nach Georgipoulis braucht man ca. 10 Minuten. Ein Auto ist für die Unterkunft ein muss, da es in der Nähe wirklich nichts gibt.
Hätte die Unterkunft noch einen Ganzkörperspiegel hätten die Frauen nichts zu bemängeln 😀
Die Gastgeberin war super lieb und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir würden die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen der vom Trubel weiter weg Urlaub machen möchte.

Geweldige accomodatie, fantastisch verzorgde woning ook halverwege de week extra linnengoed, handdoeken, en vloeren gepoetst. Goed uitgangspunt voor uitstapjes. Prachtig prive kapelletje met bijpassend verhaal. Zeer vriendelijke goed bereikbare host, die af en toe kwam kijken of alles in orde was, leuke gesprekken. Zwembad en bijbehorende privacy was top! In e woning was alles aanwezig wat nodig was.
