Rauhallinen sijainti ja oma pakettiauto plussaa, jolla meidän isompi perhekunta pääsi liikkumaan paikasta toiseen. Asunto oli viihtyisä ja lapset rakastivat omaa uima-allasta. Auringonnousut- ja laskut olivat ihania katsoa omalta kattoterassilta. Jokaisen huoneen yhteydessä olevat omat kylpyhuoneet olivat erittäin hyvä asia. Suosittelen lämpimästi paikkaa muillekin!

THE VILLA:
The villa was super clean and spot on with the pictures. Every room has it’s own bathroom, there is a big TV in the living room and each room has it’s own TV as well.
The pool is clean as well and it’s the perfect size to just chill in the morning or after a long day at the beach.
The kitchen is spacious and has enough glasses to make as many cocktails as you want 😀 .
My favorite spot is the roof, with beds to sleep (in case you want to see the stars when getting a shut-eye), a table to eat and have a view, and also a big couch + chairs to sit and have a drink & talk.
TRANSPORT:
The VAN is the best thing to ever exist. I am serious !!! The transport here is non-existing (0 taxi, 0 uber, 0 buses), if you don’t rent a car, you will have a seriously bad time. The VAN has place for 9 people, and we took it to every beach on the island.
The people at the villa will also arrange transport for coming/going to the airport for a price. (Which I also loved, since as I mentioned, the taxis are non-existing basically)
COMMUNICATION:
I would give it 7 stars out of 5. Everything we needed we got, and the response time was super fast.

Beautiful house, stunning beach 3 min away, clean, spacious and elegant. Lovely Chania only 15 minute drive. A wonderful vacation.

We were 6 adults and 2 young children and had a lovely stay at Villa Amalia. The house is spacious and well equipped.
For us the location was perfect as all the kid friendly beaches which are usually safe from wind and big waves are all within relatively short driving distance (Marathi, Loutraki, Stavros). The car is essential to get around and was a big plus to our stay.

Villa fantastica ed in posizione ottima. Molto vicina a Chania ed a tante spiagge. Posto silenzioso anche se vicino all’aeroporto. La casa era provvista di tutto il necessario compresi ombrelloni, pallone, racchettoni, materassini. Abbiamo trovato al nostro arrivo anche tutto il necessario per la colazione del giorno successivo. Sia la proprietaria che l’agenzia sono stati fantastici. La consiglio assolutamente. Il van è top!! Utilissimo per andare tutti insieme in spiaggia.

From checking-in to checking-out and everything in between went smoothly and was as promised. The Villa itself was superbly equipped from kitchen ware to children’s toys etc. Everything felt easy and we enjoyed our stay. Baby cots and chairs were provided. The minibus is an absolute bonus. Thank you for the stay.

It was a lovely Villa. Very spacious and we enjoyed the pool and roof top deck. Sandra was a lovely host. We appreciated all the groceries Sandra had provided. The only issue We had was with the van. We thought the Van came with the Villa. If we had used it we would have had to pay 300 euros. I would suggest that you make it clear that it is not included.

Wow! This was a dream come true for 3 sisters 6 day stay in Chania. This 2 story flat had everything you could ever want from snacks, milk, coffee, wine to all bathroom supplies. It was right at the boarder of old and new town so we left our car parked in the garage and walked every where. The flat was spotless and luxurious. The many terraces and balconies had breath taking views from sunrise to sunset. We will be back!!

We stayed in this apartment for 9 days in late May with a 5 year old and a 1.5 year old.
The place is really cool and stylish. They’ve spared no expense furnishing the apartment and everything feels really high quality. The beds and pillows are super comfy, the towels are soft and it’s generally just a nice place to be in. The whole place feels pretty big too.
The apartment came with a free 9 seater van, which was great for moving everyone around. It’s not the fanciest van but it did the job nicely.
The communication with Stella was excellent. Although this property is managed by company, she still managed to keep it quite personal and was often checking in to make sure we had everything we needed.
Stella booked our airport transfers and that all felt really smooth.
The pool area is nice. The pool isn’t heated, so it’s a little chilly but not too bad.
There are lots of stairs, which wasn’t great for having a 1.5 year old stay there and the steps down to the pool didn’t have a hand rail, which made them quite dangerous for kids and older people. We managed to get by though.
The neighbourhood seemed fine and safe and there are lots of local supermarkets within 5 minutes walk. However, the location could be better. It’s possible to walk down the beach at Kalathas in about 10 minutes but it’s on quite a busy road with no pavement. Other than the beach, there’s not much that you can walk to, so expect to be driving unless you’re planning on relaxing by the pool all day.
The rooftop garden is really nice for a little drink in the evening and you get great views of the sea and sunset.
Overall, this is a really nice place to stay but would be better suited to adult groups or families with kids over 5.

We had a wonderful stay and the house was everything we wished for. Very luxouriou the house dven better than the pictutes. Thank you also for great service whenever we needed something, ordering pizza or the best restaurant or ordering taxi. We couldnt have wish for anything more.

We, as a family of seven adults and one 6 month old baby, stayed for one week in this Villa and we had an amazing holiday! The villa is fabulous, impeccably clean with amazing views from the roof top terrace. The free car hire made such a difference as we went into Chania almost every day, especially since Holiways’s were able to provide a baby car seat. Stella and Maria from Holiways’s were very helpful, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.
We would definitely recommend this villa and we will most likely be going back ourselves.

This house is amazing! The view from the roof deck and the location are perfect. It is very new, perfectly equipped with everything you need but even with those things you do not expect. But the best of all is the service.. I do not know were to start. Stella is there whenever you need something or have a question. She gave us perfect recommendations to enjoy the crete cuisine. This made our stay a culinary highlight. Even the cleaning lady made an amazing job. Everything clean yes, but thats not all. We accidentially damaged a small piece of the curtains you would not even see. The cleaning lady saw it and fixed it. Very attentive! Would love to make holiday like this again. Villa Amelia was our perfect vacation villa. We were 7 of us and we had one of the most memorable vacation abroad. Ive always heard people say that place where we stay during our vacation is what holds the key in making a vacation enjoyable. This vacation in chania made us realise that the statement is totally true.
Amelia villa was truly remarkable. It was sparking clean and it had everything that we wanted. All amenities are provided much beyond our expectations. The van is the biggest highlight of the villa and we had an enjoyable 7 day stay much because of the private van. Stella is a perfect host and was always available to help us with our local requirements. If you plan for a vacation in chania don’t even have a second thought. Villa Amelia is the best suited place to have the most memorable vacation!😊

Had an amazing stay with four friends at this stylish, spacious villa! It is a beautiful home with lots of lovely places to chill like the pool, roof terrace living room etc. Stella was an amazing host, providing fantastic recommendations of where to go and helping arranging transport!

We stayed at Villa Amelia for 1 week. The Villa is stunning, well equipped and perfect for 2 families. The rooftop was great for watching the sunset and star gazing. The pool was a good size, very clean, and we’ll maintained. The support provided by Stella at Holliways was outstanding. She helped us navigate the local area, arranged a tour, made restaurant recommendations and dinner reservations. We really enjoyed our time in Crete and the villa was a major part of this.

We had a fantastic time in villa Amelia and the house is much better than the pictures show. Everything we could possibly need was there. We were 6 adults and 4 children who all got a good spot, their own pool was gold worth and used extensively! The outdoor kitchen with barbecue and dining area was also used extensively. We can warmly recommend this accommodation. We received quick answers when we had questions about the host, such as restaurant reservation etc.

Amazing villa with everything you need, plenty of space to lounge around, inside and outside, very confortable!! It looks better than in the picture, so stylish!! Stella was a big help in everything (transfers, where to eat the best food in Crete, wich are the best beaches and so on) just text her and she will answer immediately. For sure we will recommend this house!

Amazing house, they had wine and cheese waiting. They gave us many great recommendations. Everything was great!

This house was great for couples and each bedroom is well decorated and comfortable and includes an on suite bathroom with a shower. We were a larger group of 9 and were very comfortable. Pool isn’t usable in the winter due to the temp but it would have been nice in the warmer seasons.
The kitchen was well equipped, pots, and pans and utensils for cooking. There was a good amount of little extras, coffee, filters, olive oil and things like this.
We really enjoyed our time with family and friends.

Very nice stay to the villa! Everything was wonderful and it has everything you need, from all the appliances to bathrobes or beach towels. The bedrooms look better than in pictures, the kitchen it’s huge, the view from the top it’s amazing. The comunication was also a plus. It has a supermarket near by (200m), and also a beach (15min walk).
I would totally recomand!!

The most amazing place in a beautiful area. The villa was above and beyond what we expected and we couldn’t have asked for more. It had everything you could possibly need from the bbq and pool to balconies and roof terrace and lovely kitchen and living area with a curved tv. Stella was so helpful in keeping in touch and telling us about where to go as well as helping us get around. I would 100% come back again definitely recommend staying here.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Amelia. The villa very clean, the pool was clean and the beds were great. We had everything we needed in the villa and more! The roof terrace was great and the pool was a welcome cooling down after a sunny day. Checking in and out went smooth and the van was great to use to cruise around the island. We definitely recommend staying here!!

La villa est exactement pareil que dans l’annonce, que sur les photos.
La vue du Rooftop est incroyable !
Les chambres sont parfaites, la cuisine est équipée comme il faut.
Le coin piscine et barbecue permet de passer d’excellent moment.
Le van compris dans la location est indispensable pour visiter les plus beaux endroits de Crète, un vrai plus !
A proximité il y a tout, la plage de Kalathas, un petit sentier a 200 mètres de la maison, des restaurants, station service.

Every bit as wonderful and unique as it looks on the pictures. The Villa had everything we needed for our family stay. each room has a private bathroom, tv, closet and a view! location was great and the van made moving around convenient. highly recommend the local beach over the touristic ones.

This villa was all we hoped for and more and we are super happy with our stay. Even though the pictures already looked stunning we couldn’t believe how nice, luxurious and convenient our place was. We were a party of 7, with 5 teenagers who all agreed it was the best holiday in years !
The concierge was so attentive and responded immediately every time, everything was organized to perfection.
The van with the villa made our stay fantastic as we had plenty of flexibility to visit restaurants, beaches and sights.
I would definitely recommend this place and would happily return and stay longer as the island is so plentiful and interesting.

We had a fantastic holiday in Villa Amalia. The house, the pool area and the roof terrace are just perfect. The sunset from the roof terrace was absolutely fantastic.
Everything in the house works and there is everything you need for cooking and everything in good quality.
Our contact person from Holiways was very helpful and always answered our questions quickly. She was very helpful in arranging transfers to and from the airport as well as the trip to Samaria. The Samaria trip is a fantastic nature experience and we recommend everyone to take this trip. We very much hope that we can return to Greece at a later date and will definitely contact Holiways again.

We stayed 10 nights with 4 adults and 3 children in Villa Amelia and enjoyed our stay in Kalathas very much. Villa Amelia is a very modern and sophisticated house with plenty of seating areas, including shaded ones. Just ideal for our needs.
The rooms are tastefully decorated, mostly with en-suite bathrooms, a sufficiently large pool and a mini-bus for trips to the surrounding beaches. Our impression is rounded off by a fully equipped kitchen, great, professional service and last, but not least, exceptional and cordial hosts!

Die Dachterasse bietet den perfekten Start in den Tag & den perfekten Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang am Abend. Die Grillecke lädt Abends für ein super bbq ein. Das Auto hat unseren Urlaub absolut entspannt gestalten lassen. Wir kommen wieder!

Villa Amelia was fabulous! The photos do not do it justice at all. We were celebrating a 40th bday, and it couldn’t have been more special! Stella was absolutely amazing, and helped create the perfect holiday for us (6 adults). The beds were all super comfortable, the showers were amazing, the pool was perfect, but my favourite place was the roof top. We had multiple meals up there, and watched some of the most spectacular sunsets! Also, if you’re wanting to arrange a chef to come in for a private dinner, just ask Stella! She provided us with the best recommendation! We will definitely be coming back!

vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés et vous laisser guider par Holiways. Tout est bien pensé à commencer par Stella et son book qui vous donnent toutes les informations souhaitées.
la situation géographique est également top si vous voulez visiter l ouest de l’île.
le prêt du van est très appréciable pour visiter l île et le gps vous indique même les radars ainsi que les limitations de vitesse.
Quant à la maison, elle est juste top! les chambres sont spacieuses avec un balcon, et chacune a sa propre salle de bain et WC. Nous étions 7 et avons bien apprécié ce petit luxe.
La pièce à vivre est spacieuse et très confortable, il y a même des jeux de sociétés à disposition. La cuisine est très bien équipée avec une vaisselle plus que généreuse.
Le rooftop est juste incroyable avec sa vue. Nous étions début novembre, le soleil se couche à 17h30, et les nuits fraiches. Du coup, nous en avons profité le matin pour prendre notre petit déjeuner, c’était très agréable d’autant plus que le soleil était déjà bien chaud dès 9h.
L aéroport est tout proche donc pensez y en prenant vos vols et ne faites pas la même bêtise que nous car Heraklion est à 2h de route….
A proximité, il y a pleins de stations services pour faire le plein. les supermarché ainsi que les restaurants sont également très proches. Stella vous en recommandera dans son book qui est une mine d’informations, il est très bien pensé.
Bref, que du positif!

Jättefint hus i ett mysigt område. Matbutik fanns i närheten och nära till stranden. En liten bit till Chania som är närmsta stad så behövs bil eller taxi. Däremot kunde man gå till närmsta lite större samhälle där det fanns några mysiga restauranger, caféer och matbutiker. Bilen ingår vilket är toppen men värt att ha koll på att det är åldersgräns 24 på att få köra den.
Vår värd Stella var otroligt hjälpsam med allt från att välkomna oss och svara på frågor till att hjälpa oss med taxi och rekommendationer för utflykter. Sammanfattat hade vi en underbar vecka i Villa Amelia!

Had a lovely time at Villa Amiela. Beautiful house with the extra bonous of a pool and the car. Very near to Chania , only a 20 minute drive. Could not think highly enough of Natasa our host, from Holiways, was very welcoming. She also gave us good ideas for restaurants and activities. l would highly recommend this Villa

We were a family of 6 and stayed very comfortably in this modern and beautiful tri-level house. We used every space provided by the Airbnb including the rooftop which truly had a magnificent view of the ocean and the sunset. The BBQ grill and the outdoor space was a nice plus as well. We got just what we needed which was a great since our plan was to relax and visit the beaches on other days. We ended up renting an automatic car as none of us were familiar driving a manual car. Our host was very quick to respond and resourceful with our every request. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Kuvat eivät tuoneet esille Villan upeaa kokonaisuutta, siksi ensivaikutelma oli yllätyksellisen upea. Viiden hengen lapsiperhe ja kaksi pariskuntaa sai riittävästi omaa tilaa tarvittaessa. Hyvä ilmastointi, jokaisessa makuuhuoneessa oma kylpyhuone, alakerrassa viihtyisä keittiö ja oleskelutila. Kattoterassi oli huipennus kokemukseemme, siellä aterioitiin mielellään ja ihasteltiin auringon laskuja. Myös allasalue oli todella kiva niin aikuisille kuin lapsillekin.
Piha-alueelle pääsy lukitusta portista toi turvallisuuden tunteen ja yhdeksän hengen vanin kanssa kävimme tutustumassa paikallisiin ravintoloihin ja tietysti ostosmatkat Haniaan.
Yhteyshenkilömme Natasa antoi vinkkejä ravintoloista ja marketeista, selkeitä toimintaohjeita oleskelumme ajaksi ja oli tekstiviestillä/puhelimella tavoitettavissa koko ajan. Pois lähtiessämme hän vielä tarkisti, että taxi oli tullut ajallaan viedäkseen meidät lentokentälle ajoissa.

Spotless villa with excellent facilities and a lovely pool. There is a supermarket just round the corner and restaurants close by too. Check in process was a little confusing and it felt like we were told off after a mid week clean (that we didn’t ask for) for moving a mattress topper and not taking the garbage out… even though we ensured both were taken care of before we finally checked out. Apart from this, the host was helpful and responsive.

We absolutely adored our stay at Holiways! The whole house is beautiful and makes spreading out easy- we were a group of 6! We loved the pool and having the car was extremely convenient. One thing to keep in mind is that the van is a standard drive and a relatively old. Important to be confident with a larger vehicle on narrow roads but it suited us well! The hosts were extremely communicative and even arranged last minute transport for us. We would love to come back!

We were a family of 8 ranging in age from 2 to 70, and we had a lovely stay at Villa Amelia. The villa is breathtaking: modern, spacious, fully equipped with everything you need (including pool toys for the kids). There were really welcoming touches (milk, cheese, bread, fruit, wine waiting for us) – that were so appreciated after a very long day of travel. The view from the roof is gorgeous. Super aircon. Comfortable beds. Definitely recommend for a group that wants to ‘get away’ from crowds.
There are two markets less than a 5 min walk from the villa (the toddler made the walk multiple times) – they have EVERYTHING you need from sunscreen to fresh fruit, snacks to shampoo and the people in the shop are all helpful and kind.
There are some wonderful restaurants nearby (Lena Beach is a standout with a glorious view) although not walkable (but I would caveat that may be specific to our group given the age range!) so the van is essential.

Amazing, beautiful space but an uneven experience. We were very impressed with the quality of the villa and amenities. The pool and van were extremely nice benefits. However, the service we were provided with was somewhat below expectations. They were very stingy with toilet paper (only gave us 2 rolls per washroom for 3 days!), laundry detergent, and towels. When we requested more of these supplies we were told that it should be enough and if we needed more to buy it ourselves, which we found distasteful given the price we paid. Also, we had some issues: 1) van was not ready on the first night until 9pm so a smaller car was provided which could not transport our 8 person party for dinner; 2) air conditioning did not work between hours of 12am-2am. We communicated our concerns but the way they were handled by our contact person was a bit inconsiderate. She did not seem care about serving us and had short, snarky responses. In the end we had to figure out the issues on our own.

The villa was beyond our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice. The place was immaculate, well equipped and very spacious. The service we received from the Holiways staff was on point. Proactive, helpful and very professional.
When you take the responsibility to book a place for the whole group, there is always the worry that you might do wrong, getting praised for the choice was a validation that the whole group was thrilled with our villa.

Asunto sijaitsi rauhallisella ja lapsiystävällisessä ympäristössä. Villa oli itsessään hyväkuntoinen ja pihapiiri oli hyvin pidetty. Auto on välttämätön liikkumiseen, mutta se oli järjestetty asunnon puolesta, joskin auton kunnossa olisi ollut parantamisen varaa. Ranta oli myös lähellä ja se oli erittäin rauhallinen sekä puhdas roskista.

Excellent from start to finish, the villa was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The location was brilliant, just a few minutes drive from the beach, which we used the mini van that came with the villa to get around. Really good and we would book again.

Nous avons particulièrement aimé que chaque couple ait sa propre aire d’intimité en plus de profiter pleinement des zones communes. Que dire de l’extrême gentillesse de Stella, la représentante de Holiways et aussi de la propriétaire de la Villa. Elles ont été toutes les deux incroyables avec nous. Elles ont été d’une grande aide lors d’une situation particulièrement difficile.
Ça restera un séjour inoubliable pour chacun de nous.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property in Chania. It is a beautiful house and pool and very well equipped. Communication was always great and the van made our month long stay a real adventure. We were able to explore and enjoy so much of this beautiful island because of it. The rooftop was such an amazing spot to watch sunsets and gather to play games or just relax. We had family first, then friends visit and everyone loved it. The Stop and Shop market nearby had very kind and helpful people that made us feel at home in the neighborhood. We will forever treasure our time there and hope to be back someday.

We all loved Villa Amelia, especially the pool area and roof top where you can watch the sunset. The bedroom and living areas had everything we needed and the villa was extremely well equipped.
We could walk to the beach and the 2 local shops but needed to use taxis to get into Chania or the local restaurants which were a bit of a longer walk away. The mini van is a useful addition if you’re prepared to drive.
Nicole was a great person to assist us with our visit .
